Passenger ship has to be based on this law. As LLW and decommissioning waste is regarded as non-valuables, the transport of these materials are based on this law, but not coastal shipping law.3.Vessels constraction operation planSeveral vessels are needed by Japanese legal system for transport of radioactive materials such as spent fuel and LLW because it not arrows to have consolidated transport of spent fuels and LLW at the same time.Furthermore, as the shape and weight of LLW container and decommissioning waste cask has a big difference, construction of the dual use cargo hold vessel is difficult. Then, the separated special vessels are desirable.Therefore it is necessary to build at least 3 kinds of vessel, for spent fuel and MOX fuel vessel, for LLW vessel and for decommissioning waste vessel.Drafting of a ship building plan has to be based on the transport schedule and volume of each radioactive material. It's also necessary to take transport efficiency into consideration in case of multipurpose use concerning LLW container and decommissioning waste cask.
