Abstract
PHASE CHANGE MODELS FOR CASK ANALYSIS. The applicability of the pure conduction model is considered for lead-shielded casks in which melting occurs. By modifying the classical pure conduction melt model, the inadequacy of this model for melting in lead shielded casks is demonstrated.
