Abstract
Operating procedures used to receive and convert plutonium-bearing scrap to high-purity plutonium nitrate product are discussed. Operating procedures used to measure or verify, repackage, and store are also discussed. Shipper obligations or responsibilities and receiver handling methods are described. Nuclear Materials Management procedures pertinent to accounting, measure- ments, and inventory control are outlined.
