\"THREE KEY ASPECTS OF NUCLEAR MATERIALS MANAGEMENT\"

INTRODUCTION It's a pleasure to welcome you to this afternoon's management seminar on \"Three Key Aspects of Nuclear Materials Management.\" The seminar will consist of the presentation of three papers, one on each of what we consider to be three key elements in a management system; that is, inventory control, record-keeping and management information. In these papers we will emphasize the importance of these subjects in modern-day business manage- ment generally and point out their significance to the nuclear materials manager. Obviously, we can't in the limited time available this afternoon deal with specific problems, but we hope to stimulate thinking about these subjects and their relationship to particular inventory situations.
