AN OVERVIEW OF U. S. NON-PROLIFERATION GOALS

Our next speaker, Dr. Joseph S. Nye, Jr., received his B.S. degree from Princeton in 1958. This was followed by post-graduate work at Oxford on a Rhodes Scholarship and in 1964 he received his Ph.D. from Harvard. Like our previous speaker, Dr. Nye began his career as a Professor serving in that capacity until his appointment to his current position in January of 1977 where he is the Deputy to the Undersecretary of State for Security Assistance, Science, and Technology in the U. S. Department of State. Dr. Nye.
