Abstract
Industry involvement, to date, in the development of criteria, standards and specifications is summarized frora the perspective of the equipment vendor. Institutional and technical constraints on this process, for the present and future, are discussed. Lastly, the paper summarizes the key objectives and guiding principles of future standards actions necessary to guarantee succsso for DOE's OCRWM program.
