Abstract
I am pleased to have the opportunity today to discuss with you an important problem that is facing the nuclear industry at the present time and one which will be of increasing importance in the years to come, particularly as pri'vate ownership of nuclear materials expands. This problem concerns the financing and/or leasing of the large requirements of nuclear materials which will be needed in the future for fuel in the ever growing number of nuclear electric generating stations in the United States. This problem also extends to similar facilities abroad, but the problem at the present time is a sufficiently complex one in the U. S. alone that I will limit my remarks to the domestic market for such services.
