An Update on Vapor Detection of Explosives

There have been tremendous developments in the field of explosives vapor detection within the last few years. The instruments that were under development a few years ago are now many orders of magnitude more sensitive than they were and some of them are now becoming more portable. A number of instruments and their potential applications will be described. A look at the near future and possible solutions to the problem of explosives vapor detection will be advanced.
