Abstract
The U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Security Evaluations (OSE) is responsible for inspecting and evaluating safeguards and security measures at Department of Energy facilities. During the past year, OSE has implemented significant organizational and procedural changes that are of interest to the safeguards and security community. This paper describes these changes in the inspection program and their current and projected impacts on efforts to maintain effective and dynamic protection programs throughout the Department of Energy.
