SOME DEVELOPED PERFORMANCE CRITERIA

This paper describes proposed performance criteria for weapons, test devices, and significant special nuclear material (SNM) parts. The criteria were developed from material control, accountability, and physical security measures. Guidelines discussed in this paper represent a first effort in developing a useful set of Department of Energy material control and accountability (MC&A) performance standards for weapon parts production facilities.
