Abstract
At the Gosatomnadzor Siberian Inspectorate, which is headquartered in Novosibirsk, Siberia, gamma and neutron measurement devices and nondestructive assay (NDA) devices are used by inspectors for safeguards and security measurements. These devices have been provided to weapons facilities in Siberia, the Urals, and the far east regions of Russia under the MPC&A (explode) program. A centrally located technical support center is needed near Novosibirsk to calibrate, repair, and maintain these devices. This poster presentation and paper will discuss the role and capabilities of the Siberian Technical Support Center (STSC). The STSC will be operated by the Metrology Department of the Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics in Novosibirsk, Russia.
