Abstract

 the use of nuclear material for peaceful purposes becomes a necessity for every country unfortunately nuclear material as well as associated installations are vulnerable to acts of terrorism and sabotage. The objectives of the nuclear security and physical protection system is to protect nuclear facility or nuclear material against threats and terrorist. The equipment is not sufficient it must be completed with nuclear security and nuclear security culture to achieve these objectives. each state must equip itself with an adequate and suitable security system with the minimum of vulnerabilities a security system can only be effective if it is associated with personnel capable of keeping up with the evolution of technology and threats. This is possible if each country can adopt an education system that meets these needs in nuclear security and associates a training system and exercises that will cover the gaps in this area. the IAEA and these entities such as INSEN offer monitoring for member states in the field of training and training. States need to establish, implement, maintain and sustain a national nuclear security regime to protect against threats. education can contribute to the installation of the foundations of nuclear security and training contributes to the evolution of nuclear security according to threats and gaps
