REVIEW OF THE AMERICAN NUCLEAR SOCIETY WORKSHOP ON POWER PLANT SECURITY*

The second Workshop on Power Plant Security, sponsored by the American Nuclear Society (ANS), was held during April 24-27, 1983, with very broad domestic and foreign participation. The workshop theme was \"Practical Implementation of Security at Nuclear Power Plants - Impact on Plant Costs, Operations, and Safety.\" The workshop featured general sessions containing invited papers and panel discussions. Working groups convened to hear additional papers and discuss selected topics. Several general conclusions and recommendations were developed.
