Abstract
The Safeguards Science and Technology Group at the Los Alamos National Laboratory has developed a versatile software program call PC/FRAM for the isotopic analysis of special nuclear material (SNM) in a sample. This program has been under evolutionary development since 1985. It has now been upgraded to run in the Windows 95, 98, or NT environment. The user interface is significantly different. Most recently, with the help of our colleagues at the Russian Federal Nuclear Center in Sarov, bilingual support has been added to the program. This makes the code more useful for plant operators, and it will help the material accountability and control programs and the disposition efforts in the Former Soviet Union.
