Abstract
I'm sure that everyone in the room is familiar with the various newspaper articles which have been critical of the way in which special nuclear material in the possession of the Atomic Energy Commission is being protected. I won't attempt to analyze these articles today. My own feeling is that some of the criticism has been justified and some of it has not. I would like to comment on some of the areas of criticism and to explain what we on the license exempt side of the program are attempting to do about our portion of it.
