Abstract
This paper discusses the error propagation associated with the estimation of isotopic ratios by means of high resolution gamma spectrometry. In particular it focuses on the fitting of relative efficiency curves and the subsequent uncertainty caused by their use for intrinsic calibration in estimating the isotopic ratios. It also discusses the computational problems of error propagation when iteration is used to estimate the isotopic ratios.
