PREPARATION OF CERTIFIED REFERENCE MATERIAL 113-B, 4%-ENRICHED URANIUM HEXAFLUORIDE

Both the Department of Energy (DOE) and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) require facilities that measure nuclear materials to perform measurements that are traceable to the national measurement base. New Brunswick Laboratory is certifying CRM 113-B, Uranium (Enriched) Hexafluoride in Solid Form, Uranium Assay and Isotopic Standard, for both uranium concentration and all isotopic abundances, to fulfill accountability measurement needs for UF6 materials.
