Abstract
New Brunswick Laboratcxy (NEIL)prepared three ditkrent seta of nomktructive assay gamma spectroscopy stdards for the waste management division of the Y-12 plant. These standards are filly traceable and are designed to be used in any userdetined matrix. Evaluation of the standards indicated that the prepared standards had low self-attenuation, and that instmmm t response was dependent solely on the 23SUcontent and not the isotopic distribution or geometly.
