Abstract
DR. KEEPIN: Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. I'm Bob Keepin, your technical program chairman, and I have the pleasure of introducing the moderator for this afternoon's panel on \"The Back End of the Fuel Cycle.\" Dr. A. Eugene Schubert was born in Kansas City, Missouri, and received his B.S. degree from the University of Illinois and his Ph.D. from Penn State, both degrees in Chemical Engineering. He joined the General Electric Company during the war and was soon involved in their nuclear program. He is now president of Allied General Nuclear Services and is a long-time proponent of the Breeder cycle.
