Abstract
In order to evaluate the function of NRTA (Near Real Time Accounting) in the reprocessing facility, a simulation model is built, which is constructed following the flow of uranium and plutonium using C++. The process parameters in the model can be changed to simulate variance working conditions. while using normal distributed random number to simulate measurement uncertainty, which generate the MUF (Material Unaccounted For) calculation of reprocessing facility. The simulation results show that NRTA is an effective method for nuclear material accounting in reprocessing facilities.
