NUCLEAR CONTROLLERSHIP

I am sure all members of the Institute are aware of the intensity of my continuing interest in Nuclear Materials Safeguards. Consistent with my attitudes concerning the National and International importance of Nuclear Controllership I had expected to detail out advanced techniques for automating nuclear materials handling, measurements, verification and data processing. I intended to propose more use of dynamically responsive mathematical models to devise optimal systems as costs and technology change. I would have urged better utilization of diagnostic trial balances in more meaningful processing material balance areas. I wished to describe wider use of standardized materials from retained main process streams to continuously probe for measurement and processing quality. I was to propose adversary testable portal, transport and in-process protective devices and systems.
