Abstract
N14 is accredited by the American National Standards Institute by the Accredited Materials Management. The approved scope is \"Standards for the packaging and transportation of fissile and radioactive materials, but not including movement or handling during processing and manufacturing operations.\" The paper will discuss how standards are developed by the N14 Committee, the committee structure and the status of N14 standards activities. In addition, the procedures that N14 utilizes will be highlighted.
