Modified Cobra Seal System

A Modified Cobra Seal System has been developed at Sandia National Laboratories. This seal system is an updated version of the original Cobra Seal1 which was developed for use by the International Atomic Energy Agency. The Modified Cobra Seal System incorporates a still video camera in the verifier and the seal images are stored on magnetic disks. This approach permits the e x t e n s i v e use of commercially a v a i l a b l e components and a l l o w s the user greater flexibility in how the system is used. The result is a more reliable and economical system.
