Abstract
A mobile, real-time, nondestructive assay system has been developed for both nuclear material safeguards inventory verifications and measurements on the Hanford project. The system includes electronic and computer support equipment mounted in a specially constructed vehicle, and passive and active neutron and gamma-ray measurement equipment transported in the vehicle but operated external to the vehicle. This system significantly increases safeguards verification and measurement capabilities.
