Abstract
PAPER NOT AVAILABLE. ABSTRACT: Recent network technology has been applied to build a new type of Integrated Monitoring System (IMS). The concepts behind the IMS will change the way future unattended safeguard systems are implemented and installed. The intelligence of die system will be distributed dirough out the system into local data processing and transmission nodes (PTN). The PTNs will be able to make intelligent decisions regarding the handling of its data. The IMS can be adapted to many safeguard applications because of the flexibility of the configurations that can be built from the PTNs. The basic operation of die IMS is presented in this poster session.
