Abstract

In 2019, the Middle East Scientific Institute for Security (MESIS) hosted an international meeting on the process of establishing a Human Reliability Program (HRP), as a method to mitigate Insider Threats. This paper will highlight the lessons learned from that meeting and identify the common approaches to the process of establishing an HRP. The paper will also chronicle nuclear security efforts of MESIS in Jordan, and the Middle East region, which support mitigating insider threats.
