Next spring we at Philadelphia Electric company plan to insert the initial core of fuel into the first of four 3295 thermal megawatt reactors (Peach Bottom Unit No. 7, Core 1). This event represents the culmination of processing and transporting 1,537,312 Ibs. of tJ3O8 as ore concentrate for conversion, producing 150,592 KgU as enriched UFg , fabricating 37,U36 rods, and assembling and shipping 76U fuel bundles.
