Abstract
It was my intention to explain to you the legal or statutory obligations to which a manufacturer working in the nuclear field in France is liable. In order to do this, I intented to discuss the different aspects of the French regulations according to the various points of view from which the y are considered. One aspect of the problem for example concerns the plant in which radioactive substances are handled, and in this case I should describe the conditions under which it is authorized to create and operate an establishment containing nuclear installations.
