Abstract
An integrated safeguards system with multi-camera and multi-detector support is being developed by the Canadian Safeguards Support Program in cooperation with the German Support Programme to the International Atomic Energy Agency. The system builds on previous developments related to the VXI Integrated Fuel Monitor (VIFM) and now provides digital camera support capability as well as two remote access modes. These new capabilities are supported by the same advanced configuration and data collection tools that are a cornerstone of the original VIFM system. The environment and user interface used for establishing the configuration and functionality for VIFM systems, referred to as the Advanced Configuration Environment (ACE), permits unprecedented control and speed in setting up and configuring systems of widely ranging functionality and complexity via high-level block diagrams.
