Abstract
A neutron interrogation instrument was tested to monitor uranium content in undissdved solids from Rover fuel dissolution. The instrument operates satisfactorily in the presence of a gamma source of greater than 50 R/hr at 1.3 cm. The lower detection limit is 20 g 235U in approximately 75 £ of Boron loaded solids in a 25.4 cm diameter sample container with a precision of ± 30 grams of 235U.
