Abstract
This paper describes the Computerized Nuclear Fuel Data Bank designed and being developed by Commonwealth Edison Company. It is expected that most of the system will be operational by the end of 1973. The primary function of the system will be one of accountability for the location and isotopic content of thousands of nuclear fuel assemblies that are owned and leased by Commonwealth Edison Company. In addition, the data bank will be used for such financial functions as the calculations of nuclear fuel expenses and the provision of a plant record for federal income tax calculations. All data will be available through a flexible retrieval program to develop special reports, to provide input for other computer programs, and to facilitate performing correlation studies. The nuclear fuel data bank will play a key role in nuclear fuel management.
