Abstract
Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) and Aquila Technologies Group (Aquila) have entered into an agreement whereby LANL's Micro Miniature Multi- Channel Analyzer (M3CA) technology is being transferred to Aquila for commercialization.LANL has, under USDOE funding, developed a Miniature and Modular Multi- Channel Analyzer specifically to address the needs of in-field, in-plant and unattended monitoring applications. The small, lightweight and highly capable analyzer is well suited to domestic and international regulatory and safeguards needs. The majority of the technology transfer process has been completed and initial production is well underway. Fullscale production later this year will make this unique LANL technology available in quantities sufficient to satisfy the rapidly increasing demand.
