Abstract
High-resolution, 3-D CdZnTe imaging spectrometers capable of operating under an inert argon atmosphere have been developed. Solutions to practical engineering problems, such as increased high voltage arcing in argon, are discussed. Potential nuclear material accounting and control applications to hot cells including surveying, material localization and identification, and material quantification are discussed.
