Abstract
US Ecology, Inc. is involved in the design, fabrication and operation of systems for processing radioactive waste. As the regulations for disposal of hazardous waste become more stringent, these same processing techniques are being applied to hazardous waste and mixed waste. Two of those techniques are described herein; solidification with asphalt and solidification with Aquaset/Petroset.
