Abstract
This is a summary article describing the new ANL Model IV Fuel Rod Calorimeter which incorporates a micro processor control-readout system to make measurements of the plutonium content of FFTF fuel rods with an uncertainty of + 0.2 percent in a 15 minute measurement period. Full details of component design and operating response characteristics are not presented because rigorous evaluation studies have not been completed.
