Abstract
The W. G. activities are concentrated on two main areas, namely nuclear material accountancy and parametric studies related to the evaluation of the safeguards measures needed to reach definite technical criteria. In the first field of activity , results already achieved in the error evaluation of plant measurement practices and in the use of the NUMSAS code for the evaluation of the MUF and the LEMUF are reported. The effort required for physical inventory taking and its verification are described; furthermore an outline of a practical dynamic inventory is given. In the second area, different verification schemes are considered taking into account MA and C/S measures.
