Abstract
Propagation of error formulas for the case of one function of several variables or several explicitly kno'.ai functions have been studied. The only untreated case remaining is the one where the \"dependent\" variable is an implicit function and cannot readily (or at all) be solved in terms of the independent variables. This case is treated in the present paper which takes the general matrix viewpoint and thereby obtains results in concise form. A special case is application to linear (algebraic) system^arising in an idealization of a nuclear process flow without the necessity for obtaining the explicit solution.
