Abstract
A program of data collection, analysis, and interpretation is routinely carried out to assess the effectiveness of the various aspects of safeguards materials accounting measures. The paper describes the various presentations, analyses, and types of interpretations that are performed at a typical low enriched fuels fabrication plant. The approaches used to evaluate shipper-receiver differences, the variance of MUF, cumulative MUF, individual MUF's, process enrichment integrity, and uranium element and isotopic factors are described. The general approach used to estimate measurement errors is also briefly described. The practical aspects and benefits of the program are discussed.
