VERIFICATION ARCHITECTURE AND TECHNOLOGY FOR START

E f f e c t i v e treaty v e r i f i c a t i o n depends on national technical means and cooperative measures such as on-site inspection. Differences between on-site inspection requirements for INF and START will be highlighted. The methodology employed and practical d i f f i c u l t i e s encountered developing on-site inspection techniques and tools for START will be described.
