The Protection of the Facsimile (FAX) Machine Against the Insider Threat

This paper discusses the major issues associated with protecting FAX machines from being used to transmit classified information. After discussing the ideal approach to addressing this problem, a practical solution is presented and a description of a prototype system is given.
