Abstract
It is known that many of the intense gamma rays of 238 U decay chain are n coincidence with some other gamma rays. The summing of these coincidence gamma rays in the detector will reduce the peak ares of some gamma rays in the spectrum. This in turn with affect the uranium isotopic fractions. There are several different ways to eliminate or compensate for the summing effect of the uranium peaks. These methods are being studied for incorporation into a future version of FRAM.
