Monday Daily Plenary Session

It’s an honor to be here today with my distinguished colleagues to speak about something that’s been very important to my career frankly at DOE. Transportation and packaging. Many of you, actually there are a lot of familiar faces in the audience, we’ve been working together on safely and securely transporting nuclear materials of all types for quite some time now, millions of miles around the globe and I think that you all should in a sense be proud of what your professional and governmental efforts have led to in many accounts. It’s a safety record, something we should all be proud of.
