Abstract
The Material Monitoring System (MMS) uses an Internet-compatible, hierarchical information architecture to deliver sensor information from geographically dispersed nuclear material storage sites to multiple users in near real-time. The hierarchy delivers data from the lowest level sensor acquisition to database storage then dissemination to multiple users. The MMS team continues to enhance the core components, extend the system capabilities and expand the number of MMS applications. This paper presents an overview of the MMS architectural components, recent system enhancements, and MMS applications.
