Abstract
STAR (Software Toolkit for Analysis Research) is a research tool that provides an infrastructure for rapidly developing analysis techniques and evaluating their effectiveness. One of the problem domains that we are using to aid in the development of STAR is the exploitation of remote sensing data to detect proliferation. This paper will present an overview of this problem domain including the goals of analysis, the data being used, and the model of behavior that we are attempting to detect. We will also discuss the status of STAR software development.
