Project Track Right: Enhancing Material Tracking at the Mason and Hanger Pantex Plant

This paper presents the effort known as “Project Track Right”, in which Mason and Hanger Corporation at the Pantex Plant and Sandia National Laboratories have teamed up to develop a system to significantly enhance the material tracking process at Pantex. Current material tracking systems at the Pantex Plant near Amarillo, Texas are man-power intensive and require multiple data entries to report a single transaction. Although the procedures are in compliance, they can be greatly improved through the use of the latest enabling technologies.
