Abstract
The Portable Reporting and Display System (PRDS) and relocatable sensors are elements of the Air Force Dispersed Integrated Security System (DISS) program. The PRDS provides sensor annunciation and command and control information to security personnel. Portability, relocatability, and setup times will be main features. Relocatable sensors are portable sensors which can provide a line of detection around temporarily stored nuclear assets, such as transient aircraft or overnight parking of a convoy. These DISS elements will provide enhanced, quickly deployable security for nuclear assets which does not exist today. The PRDS provides multiple levels of all displays for different echelons of command. A two man portable and mobile laptop configurations provide all the sensor alarm information required to support forward deployed forces such as security response teams, convoy security personnel and nuclear storage areas. The multi-configuration concept enhances mission flexibility requirements of the DISS system. The relocatable sensors will allow security personnel to rapidly establish a line of detection around an individual asset or a temporary perimeter for a larger secure area.
